the wizard will ask a couple of questions starting with
If you have your Windows CD in one of your CD-drives - select the
letter of the CD
If you say "cancel" the wizard uses the 2k3-sp2 180 days
trial and downloads it if you haven't already done so.
After setting the path to Windows the wizard continues with this
question:
The wizard configures this key in registry:
HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SYSTEM\ControlSet001\Services\MountMgr\NoAutoMount
If this value is set to 1 the LiveCD does not mount and assigns driveletters
of any local disks at bootup.
In case you plan to use MOA for forensics you will want to set this.
If you do not know what this is about - just ignore this question.
Next question is:
Per default MOA will be created with a UNIPROCESSOR kernel.
For compatibilty with most machines you should go with this default.
Only if you do not need to boot on old machines and usually work with
uptodate systems
select the SMP-kernel.
Rule of thumb: the SMP-kernel rocks better with heavy loads - but
is not so compatible with all types of machines.
If unsure - go with the default - or build both variants.
after this questions the wizard starts Pebuilder and runs it fully
automated
can you follow ?
if no : start over
if yes : continue with stage 2
