Bad news - the new ViClient needed for ESX 4 and ESXi 4 requires
dotnetfx30SP1setup.exe
vjredist.exe
Though this works with MOA I doubt that I am able to produce such a nice setup for this as with the esx-tools so far

Interesting stuff - looks like the new version can run side by side with the old one.
So old one goes to r:\programs\vmware\infrastructure
the new one to r:\programs\vmware\vsphere
This way we can handle the vsphere-client as a true addon and we can run dotnet2 with ViClient - and if required load dotnet3 plus vSphere-client optionally. |
